He easily could've gone all 9 innings. I'm kinda liking what Cito is doing. I think he's saving Doc's workload for the important games in the season.

        good strategy IMO.

Oh and the Jays are unstoppable hitting wise!

Nothing is better than a sweep of the little Giants.

Blue Jays could make (and still might) if they would have had all of their pitchers (McGowan, Jannsenn, Marcum) all healthy..

Looks like Yankee Stadium has a nice jet stream that will be carrying balls out all year (or in its existence). Definitely not a pitcher's park.

McGowan and Marcum are basically going to be gone all year. Jannsen will probably be up in a couple months if he can get his arm built up again and some good velocity. Even so, the Jays have a plethora of good pitching. Ricky Romero has been impressive the heck out of me and they have a couple of guys just waiting to break through to the Majors.

Like I said earlier the Jays don't really face the AL East for a while yet so they can definitely forge an identity and probably create a winning environment. If the Jays can stay healthy they're going to be a real Wild Card. It's early days yet but if they're in the hunt come trade deadline day it'll be VERY interesting to see what happens.

Beltre with a MOONSHOT to Left Center and.......it one-hops to the wall. Gotta hate Safeco if you're a power hitting righty, especially this time of year with the cold air.

And watching Griffey run his overweight *** off and scoring from 1st on that play was easily the funniest thing I've seen in baseball this year.

In 4+ games at the new Yankee Stadium (counting the 2 exhibition games vs. Cubs) there has been 19 homers.

                          Dempster isn't doing too well.

I wish I could see that game. Fox has stuck us with Dodgers vs. Rockies. Puke.

Sucks for your pitching staff that the new stadium is a launch pad.

Tell me about it. A couple of the balls hit today would have been outs at the old stadium. Both Teixiera's and Choo's homers kept on carrying.
