I thinking about buying this game but I would like to know the answer to...

    A couple questions

    1) Who are the Pirates minor leaguers...
    2) Is the game full of glitches?
    3) What is the biggest glitch?
    4) ASB or WSB?
    5) How many created players can you create?
    6) is it worth the $50?

    Thank you
(it's like the Rally Monkey only it's the sword weilding Rally Graemlin rinding a horse.

heck yeah. the franchise/expansion modes alone are worth the $50 i think. its so depth its not even funny. if you like the GM aspect of a game this is it.
    Teams:

    NFL - Packers & Browns
    MLB - Brewers & Twins
NCAA Football - Wisconsin, LSU, Virginia Tech
    Soccer - Arsenal, Wolverhampton
    NHL - Wild

The big question is what type game do you like? As far as roster creation this game is unmatched. I don't think there is a limit to the number of guys you can create. If you are really into franchise building etc., then this game is for you. I had it the day it came out but traded it in today for WSB (which I enjoy more). Like I said, if possible rent all the games to see for yourself which game you enjoy the most. You can read all the post to get an idea, but it's not the same as playing it yourself.

            Alright thanks...

I'm really into to deep franchise modes with waviers minors etc... that's why I wanted to know the Pirates minor leaguers. So i'll rent both I think i'll like ASB 2004. Which is the best graphic wise? Are the stadiums accurate?

Graphics wise, WSB looks a lot better in widescreen TVs. I like the stadiums better in ASB, they have more of the "real" details in MLB parks such as correct signs, working scoreboards, etc. The batting stances and pitchers windups by far are more realistic in ASB. ASB has player scaling and the players look more like their real counterparts. For example, Bagwell and Barry Bonds wear their "armor" to the plate, Mo Vaughn looks like himself, etc.

Every game has glitches that pop up every once in a while, but I've played about 120 games of ASB and haven't seen any game killers. For example, in game 101 of my franchise today I had one that i had seen for the first time. I was pitching against Juan Encarnacion with Derek Lee on first. I threw a pitch low and away and he fouled a grounder down the first base side. My 1B went into foul territory and fielded the ball. I noticed Lee was standing off the bag so I ran up and tagged him out. It gave me the out, Encarnacion was no longer at bat, and Pudge Rodriguez came up to bat. It didn't give me an out for the batter, he just lost his at bat for some reason. Like i said it took me 100+ games to find this out, and if it happens again ill just leave the ball alone or if I field it I will just let it cut-scene back to the batter, no big deal.

To send them to rehab, simply assign them to the minors. I forget how long they can stay there.

This isn't an exhaustive list, but here are the Pirates minor leaguers that I can remember: (in no particular order)

                        Nelson Figuroa
                        Tony Alvarez
                        Adam Hyzdu
                        Bronson Arroyo
                        J.J. Davis
Humberto Cota (though he might start out on the major league roster, not sure)

That's all I remember, but there are 15 in the "high" minors and 15 in the "low" minors, and as far as I can tell, they're all real players.

also, any minor leaguers (or other players) not in the game you can create. this game has awesome flexibility to do what you want.
