Re: Whats the easy way to hit in this game classic or normal
I think most would agree classic is just the best overall batting interface. And while normal is basically the same concept, the fact that you can determine your direction of the hits is just a little unrealistic. Classic all the way.Comment

I think that normal cursor blows every other cursor out of the water in performance and realism. In real baseball, hitters choose to take a soft swing or hard swing. Guys like Jose Hernandez use power swing all the time and strike out a lot, but also hit a lot of homers. Guys like Moises Alou shorten up with 2 strikes and get a lot less K's. There is some strategy with the normal cursor, rather than just going up and swinging with classic. Also, I disagree with nikeford, it IS realistic to hit the ball wherever you want, in a way. I mean, with a man at second and nobody out, almost all hitters are gonna try to hit it to the right side. I guess it could be unrealistic if you aimed it the opposite way with a dead pull hitter, but I don't do that. I think they are probably equally as difficult (or easy).Comment
