My rosters are almost complete. They will improve every aspect of play in every way that MVP has a flaw. And they will not mess up simmed stats. In fact simmed stats are improved quite a bit.
Right now Im working on getting more errors in played games. MVP has once again mystified me. Check this out:
Spiezio 73 rating, 16 errors, .988 fielding avg.
Kennedy 65 rating, 9 errors, .985 fielding avg.
Eckstein 78 rating, 11 errors, .986 fielding avg.
Glaus 76 rating, 13 errors, .970 fielding avg.
Then I subtracted 20 off of each players fielding rating:
Spiezio 53 rating, 15 errors, .989 fielding avg.
Kennedy 45 rating, 8 errors, .985 fielding avg.
Eckstein 58 rating, 15 errors, .980 fielding avg.
Glaus 56 rating, 10 errors, .976 fielding avg.
It seems that fielding average almost makes no difference in simmed games. This is great news. I will now commence testing in played games.
I think MVP is using last years stats as a basis for simmed stats in some situations. Its weird that changing ratings has no effect. I hope my played games have some errors...
