As much as I love this game, there is one MAJOR FLAW, more than just a glitch, we all know what it is, we all deal with it, the hitting difference between veteran and all-star level is HUGE! Many of us dominate the veteran level to where it's no fun then we go to all star level and can't stay under 12k's, that's obscene.
there needs to be a level where you don't dominate, but at least you put the ball in play 85% of the time. some ground balls for the love of Allah!!!
Most of us have tried everything, i know i have, to gain that realism we all feel this game is capable of. how many posts have we seen on this topic?
I've tried everything normal cursor, classic cursor, options on-off, veteran, all-star, normal pitches, exaggerated pitches, i've even tried crazy stuff like playing veteran, but making it mandatory for myself to use power cursor untill there were 2 strikes ( i thought this would be realistic as many hitters shorten their swings with 2 strikes). i've tried hitting all-star in odd numbered innings and veteran in even numbered innings(then i realized this was idiotic). i know that if i put in time on bp i'll improve, but i simply don't have the time to put in.
i guess i'm going to give zone hitting a shot, but i'm not sure how it works.
