Zone Hitting

Okay, i'm thinking of giving this zone hitting a shot. Can someone tell me exactly how it works?
Do you just move the analog in general direction of the pitch?
anyone have any feelings on the zone hitting?
can you still guess pitch location, type, power, contact?

I use Zone hitting and I love it. It's the interface that gives you less control over hitting. Basically you have 9 zones, they are

AAA
AAA
AAA

You have to use the analog stick and swing when the pitch is in any one of those areas for success. It's really simple.

You can't choose power/contact, I like that. Guess pitch doesn't seem to work. At lease I couldn't figure it out.
