    KC

Anyone surprised that they have started this well...They've got some talent playersand some preety good young players in Beltran and Berroa but really did anyone actually think they would start off this well?

No, and seeing how they ended up losing tonight's game it makes me wonder how much longer they can keep it up. If they get their hands on a closer that can hit the strikezone they might be alright...

Lost 3 in a row and 4 out of 5. Three of those losses were 1 run games though...

But, all three of those 1 run losses were blown in the bottom of the 9th, not good for them...

Gonna be tough for them to stay atop the Al Central with with the Twinkes and White Sox breathing down their neck.

That is if the Twins ever figure out how to hit again. They did get 8 runs tonight (against the Rays for all that's worth). Good news is that the bullpen is actually better than it was last year.

Now let's not be too quick to push aside the Royals. Yes MacDougal has looked like Sh*t the past two outings (especially tonight), before that, though, he was 10 for 10 in save opportunities before that.

We have yet to get any real production out of Beltron. If MacDougal can get his head backin the game and Beltron can start hitting like he can, I expect the Royals to put of some good consistant numbers. Grnated they will not be like their start, but I believe they will continue to be competitive.

                        Cheers

Just wondering how they are going to respond to a string of pretty horrible games. I liken them to the 2001 Twins, start hot but don't quite yet know how to "win". The rest of the season should be interesting. I'd like to see a 3-way run for the division title, that would be fun. The games in september last year weren't all that exciting for Twins fans, had the division all but locked up.

                            have a good one,
