Dude! I've done three games like this so far and had the coin land heads for every pitcher except one, and kevin jarvis only pitched one inning, luckily i just got jason schmidt to pitch a gem and beat woody williams 3-1 to stop my two game skid.
the law of averages will work out.

How about Home games on Veteran and Away games on All-Star? It would make home field advantage meaningful.

also not a terrible idea...maybe somebody could find a way to work strato-matic equations into all of this?

I think the homefield advantage of baseball is based upon your building a team around what type of park you have.
the cool thing about toggling between vet/all-star every pitching change is you could start out on all-star, go to veteran, and end up back on all-star. so, most likely you will get some of both during most games.
playing all home games on veteran would make things a little too easy in my opinion.
anyways, i really enjoy playing this way all of my games have been exciting.

Man, I went from beating Unit 10 to 2 on veteran to getting shut-out 5 zero with 22!!! stikeouts against Odalis Perez a few days later. That's just dumb.

With exagerrated pitching on Odalis is actually tougher, his damn slurve floats up there then accelerates and drops five feet. When he's hitting his spots with the 95mph fastball he's impossible to hit. I like the coin flip, but so far Odalis is the only one I couldn't at least score on in all-star.

I tried the exagerated pitch thing for a few games and found it to be harder too. the speed diference between the fastball and the offspeed & breaking balls made it real tough. And Kevin Brown's slider FUHGHETT OBOUTIT!!!
