    THE INTENTIONAL WALK MUST GO!!!!

Who else is sick of this? I mean...take for instance last year in the World Series, Every time you turned around they walked Bonds! Thursday night they walked Bonds twice!
And its not just Bonds, its other guys as well!
Also as far as Aaron's HR Record, it may NEVER be broken because....hey they'll just walk 'em!!

i see your point...and i hate it too...but its nearly impossible to do that...because the guy will throw all balls anyway if he wants to walk him...

Yea it would be really tough to stop intententional walks. I read some pretty good rule changes though. One was that after 4 balls the player can decline to take first, then after 6 balls he would get second. The other one was that the first time a player walks he gets first, the second time he would get second, third he would get third and so on. They are intresting but I dont think they would work.

            Terrible, terrible, terrible.

If MLB adopted those rules I would scream! Yea, no one would really care after a while, but I'll still scream!

            Terrible!

nah. if intentional walk was gone, they would just throw 4 bad pitches, and walk him anyways.

I totally agree. The IBB is part of the game. Being able to put someone on base makes the game more dramatic and is a huge risk depending on who is behind the hitter that is walked. It puts more of an emphasis on having a great TEAM and not just one great player. If the Giants had someone that was really dangerous behind Bonds then it would make things really interesting every time he came up with a runner on.

Also don't forget that Bonds has been know to steal a ton of bases. Stop complaining and enjoy the strategy that the game involves.

Besides, if the intentional walk was gone, pitchers could just intentionally hit batters to put them on 1st........wait they already do that.
