ea patch = frustration

I check update and then it tells me no patch needed. I didn't even do anything to the game. I reinstalled and nothing gets downloaded. Anyone know a way around this check update to patch the game.

There is a rather large thread that deals with this particular subject that already has 30+ posts. It's entitled something along the lines of.......

Kumala, I don't know if this will help you, but I activated "ALL" of the ActiveX stuff in my Internet settings through the Control Panel. I was having problems before I did this but it worked for me last night. You have to enable everything that refers to ActiveX !!!!!

To make sure that the patch was applied, check your executable file for MVP, it should be dated 4/15/03.
