    Best Pitcher in the Majors

Who do you think is the best pitcher??
My vote goes to Roy Halladay. Watching the Jays vs Angels as we speak....I do not think people realize how good this guy is.....

I'd say Roy Halladay. The guy is one of the most underrated pitching stars in all of MLB.

Here's a stat that will blow you away, Roy Halladay is only the 4th MLB pitcher in history to have twice as many wins over losses in his career. The other 3 are Lefty Grove, Whitey Ford and Pedro Martinez.

Lincecum, Santana, Webb, and Halladay all come to mind.

                    Lincecum, Santana, Grienke, Hamels, Halladay.

Imagine if that was your rotation?

I was watching Halladay pitch over the weekend (Last Friday night) when he was facing off w/ Baltimore in Toronto. He's an absolute horse when he takes the ball. Definitely top5 best SPs in the league right now - and for sometime.

Really close between Santana and Halladay, I'd have to go with Johan.

When healthy, I would have to throw Chris Carpenter into the mix.

I'm going with Halladay, his consistency is just incredible.

In another year or so, I think Greinke will be right there with Roy and Johan. It takes more than just 8-9 awesome starts to be considered one the best.

I agree 100%. Give him a year or two of this kind of pitching and he's top 5 for sure. Best pitcher right now Roy Halladay.
