There's a scenario right now where the top 3 teams in the AL are all from the AL East (and 1 of those teams won't even make it to the ALDS).
I know I hate it in the NHL, but I'm all in favour of going to 8 team divisions (once MLB expands to 32) where the 2 division winners get the top seeds and every other spot is up for grabs.

So Rays hit a ball deep, a fan reaches over to catch the ball when the Jays OF was about to get it.
Umps rule it a home run.
But then they go to video review.
And after review they say there's no enough evicidence to overturn it.
Meanwhile they literally show the fan reaching OVER THE WALL to grab it. It clearly would've been in fair territory if not for the fan, and it would've been caught.

We have a trade to announce!
Apple TV has traded the rights to the Jays/Royals game tomorrow to Sportsnet for the rights to Jays/Rays next Friday.
Sportsnet wanted the rights in the event that the Jays clinch a playoff spot tomorrow, which seems unlikely now based on how the Jays have been playing.
Ironically, next Friday could be a potential AL East clinch, unless the Jays continue playing the way they have the last 2 games.Comment

Latest ump review which makes no sense.
Varsho made a diving catch. Umps say he didn't catch it. Replay review shows he caught it without the ball touching the ground. Umps say it's inconclusive so it's no catch.......
What's inconclusive about the play? The fact that you can't see the ball because it's inside his glove?Comment
