    Trade for Soriano

I am in the middle of a Giants franchise and I'm thinking of making a deal for Soriano in the offseason since Aurilia is a free agent. Do you think he can play SS with Durham at 2B? And what do you think I would have to offer to make it even? Any combo of these guys you think would be fair?
    Guys I'm thinking of dealing...
OF Todd Linden - Big time AAA prospect
OF Tony Torcato - AAA prospect
SP Jerome Williams one of the top prospects in baseball (Don't want to but if it will make it fair)
    SP Damian Moss
    3B Pedro Feliz

I'm not sure if they will give away Soriano for just prospects..

You might need to throw in an experienced player or two for him..

That's why I really want him. I think he is the most complete player in baseball. And to think, if Juan Gone had not vetoed a trade to the Big Apple, Soriano would be playing for Alan Trammell and the Tigers.

Yeah, I agree. BTW why not throw in Bonds for good measure?

                    Re: Trade for Soriano

first off the Yankees won't get rid of Soriano any more than they would Jeter, I don't even think they'd trade him for Bonds cuz Soriano is younger.

Secondly, why would you want him at SS when he struggles at second, Durham already has some problems in the field himself, I think you'd be costing yourself alot w/ that DP combo.

i tried to trade the kitchen sink for soriano, but big george wouldn't do it... I tried to give them pedro and todd walker an they didn't take it.. face it soriano wil be a yankee for the rest of his natual life...

just a tip... your going to need more than a prospect

I don't think the trade will work, and I don't think it is worth it either. Ray Durham isn't a bad second baseman. Soriano does have a better bat, but it doesn't seem like you need him on your team. I don't think Soriano could play short either.
