    I think because hitting is very difficult. It is one of those games that you really appreciate the more you play it. Most people who hate it and gave bad reviews only played it briefly.

            It actually has a learning curve that you have to overcome. One of the problems with reviewers is that the often don't get to play the game for weeks on end before writing their review, so chances are, they weren't very good at it, and assumed that things wouldn't get better.

            Once you figure out things like the batting and future throws, the game becomes an absolute blast.

                            I also think that you have to be a true baseball fan to enjoy ASB, a student of the game, and have some coordination.
