Depends on where you are throwing from. If (in reality) you are to far away from the base you are throwing to get it there without it rolling forever or not getting there at all..it wioll get cut off.
I think that's how it works. However there were times my throws got cut off when it shouldn't have...And that does suck...Joshua:

Depends on where you are throwing from. If (in reality) you are to far away from the base you are throwing to get it there without it rolling forever or not getting there at all..it wioll get cut off.

Once you throw the ball from the outfield, don't press any of the buttons until it gets to the baseman. It should get through the cutoff man. If you're button mashing, he'll cut it off.Comment

Read your manual...I never have any problems with the ball going to whatever base I want it to from the outfield.
