    6/1-6/7 MLB Discussion

Dodger fans... you guys are slacking off! It's almost Tuesday on the East Coast and we don't have an MLB Discussion thread for this week?

    Joba tonight:
    8 innings 4 hits, 2 walks, 2 runs, 5 K's

Still throwing 97 in the 8th inning.

    Mike Francesa can suck one.

Kuroda is making his return tonight. He had a 1-2-3 first inning.

Yanks played error free for the 18th straight game, and surpassed Boston's mark of 17 games set in 2006.

They should be issued an automatic error each night just for sending Jeter the human pothole out to shortstop.

Well let's hope the Jays supply Roy with some runs and um...the bullpen actually stays intact rather then imploding on itself.

This week will be interesting to see if the Jays are back to a good level of winning or they're more like the team that lost 9 in a row.

Tonight the Phillies have a pitcher making his MLB Debut by the name of Antonio Bastardo.

I hope his performance isn't as offensive.

I don't know what's worse being a pitcher named Bastardo or a weatherman named Bastardi....I feel for those guys.

Makes me feel better about having the last name Fung even though i'm not asian.

Here's something I found interesting while reading on the Phillies MLB.com site.

Howard and Ibanez have become the first Phillies duo in the history of the franchise to both have hit 10 HRs in one month.

Pretty crazy seeing as how the Phillies have been around for a 126 years.

Uggla and Cody Ross were the last two teammates to accomplish this.

No worries, pitchers making their major league debut always pitch well against the Padres. He just needs to intentionally walk Adrian two-three times and he should be just fine.

Nelson Cruz, you make my pants tight.

                            3-2 Rangers.

                            *EDIT*

Chris Davis can't catch a break. When he makes good contact the outfielders make great plays.

OMG Lol! Escobar was up against Wells and the pitch hit clearly hit his bat but he played it off like it hit him in the head. I know no ATL batters had reached base against Wells so far but that was too funny. He reached first so I guess it was effective but man was that weak.
