The Yankees' error-less streak stops at 18 games.

Padilla has to be one of the worse pitchers in baseball. I can't stand the fact that he's on the Rangers.

He's just so inconsistent. He can look great one game, then absolutely horrid the next.

        Tonight he was the latter.

A.J. Burnett wants no part of Nelson Cruz. He should probably keep that fastball away from his head.

What a strange year for Doc. He gets no run support when he's got his A game going and then when he allows more then 2 runs the Jays support him well. Despite that rough 7th inning Doc was dominant though with a career high 14 Ks which is a little surprising as I thought he'd have reached that mark already.

HUGE comeback win for the Braves against the Cubbies tonight. Hopefully this gets some sort of ball rolling.

              Right you are sir.

Another HUGE night by Raul, 3-5 3r 5rbi - left the yard twice.

This is a real easy part of Philly's schedule, and I'm glad to see them winning the games they're supposed to win.

Worth his weight in gold...at least in the '09 portion of this contract.

Josh Beckett is currently pitching a no-hitter against the Tigers midway through the 7th inning. He's looking about as sharp as I've ever seen him.

Edit: Curtis Granderson has just broken up Beckett's no-hit bid with a single to right field.

His hook was the sharpest it's been in years.

Bastardo didn't listen to me about Adrian.

Kershaw vs Hamels. Not a bad match up.

Man Casey Jannsen got killed yesterday

Hopefully they can take the series with a win this afternoon. Brian Tallet has done wonders. I don't think i've ever seen a strictly bullpen guy given an opportunity to start and taken the bull by the horns the way he has. I believe his days as a reliever are over.

Their last one was a gem...Hopefully we can end up on the winning side this time.

                                2nd inning of Mets/Pirates today.

Daniel Murphey has been thrown out twice in two consecutive plays yet has not been called out once.

First was on a pick off to first that Adrian Johnson missed.

Second was on a first to third play that the umpire was blocked.

Both times New York Mets TV guys agreed he was out.

                                Horrible umpiring.

Edit: Johnson just blew another pick off call at 1st. Apparently missed a call in the Top of the 1st as well.

How does this guy have a job? He was beyond horrible in the Nats/Mets series... and now this. What a joke.
