Wang's first day back in the starting rotation is leaving a sour taste in my mouth.

*Paging Hughes* to reclaim his starting role.

EDIT: Well, he lasted 4.2 innings. Thanks bud for that stellar performance!

Heartbreaking loss for the Jays as the offense came back to life in the back half of the game but man did they have so many opportunities to score more runs. Lind had an awesome day and his average has shot up to .313.

Phillies extended the win streak to 7 gms last night w/ a 5 hit shutout by Hamels. ...also seperating themselves from the Mess by 4 games now.

What an efficient use of pitches, as he threw 98 over 9 innings compared to the 105 thrown by Kershaw over 5.1.

During the Cubs Reds game tonight Owings struck out Zambrano batting left handed in his first at bat. So you ask "How does Z adjust in his next AB? Zambrano decides to bat righty and ends up taking him deep to center. Awesome.

Kevin Millwood should be an All-Star this year. He probably won't be, but he should.

Maybe the Jays should wear their powder blue throwbacks more often. It seems their best games offensively have come while wearing them.

Nice to see them pound on a quality pitcher like Grienke though.

I heart Gutz. That man can play CF.

And Wak calls a pitchout on a suicide squeeze. Unreal back to back plays.

Now Balentien drops a line drive with two outs to allow the go-ahead run.

I herad on ESPN today that if David Ortiz doesn't break out of the slump he's in that Boston would be in the market for Nick Johnson the Sox would give up pitching and also read on ESPN's ticker that the Braves are interested in getting Brad Penny. Its only June and already there are some good rumous out there.

The Phillies pull a Mets, and hand the victory to the Dodgers thanks to Feliz's error followed up by a walkoff hit by Ethier.
