He wasn't under any obligation to sign anything in this particular instance so I don't see what the problem is.

Most baseball players act like this now a days when people ask for their autograph. I don't understand why they don't just take the time to sign autographs for fans. Sure, some make money off of them, but most people will cherish the signatures.
In this case, it was one kid asking for an autograph, and he didn't even acknowledge the kid it looks like.
I used to be an autograph seeker, it was something I enjoyed doing when I was a kid, but the players got worse and worse towards the fans.7 National Championships

Sure, but he was at a Jays charity function, it's not like he was just eating at a restaurant, or leaving his home. It was one kid, and he just blew him off.
