Read in the paper that the Rangers aren't really looking at anyone in particular, and that they'll probably just draft the best player available.

i hope somehow the Mariners pass on Ackley. If not, in no order i only want Crow, Tate or Matzek. Please no Minor, Green, or Scheppers.

I'd prefer Tanner Scheppers over Aaron Crow. Agreed on Grant Green and Mike Minor.

Mike Minor reeks of Nick Schmidt/Wade LeBlanc/Cesar Ramos.

More mock draft publications have the Padres taking Donavan Tate with the third pick. I'm kind of disappointed that the Padres aren't considering Tyler Matzek. From all the interviews, there draft board appears to be:

Dustin Ackley - Should the Mariners pass on him.
        Donavan Tate
        Aaron Crow
        Mike Minor

Personally, other than Ackley and Strasburg, I'm not too enamored by the available college picks at #3. My list goes as:

        Donavan Tate
        Tyler Matzek
        Matt Purke

I've read some mock drafts and one has the Giants picking up Tyler Matzek. If they do, damn they're going to have strong pitching for a long time.

I like Tate i just see him going to UNC. Also being how cheap we are i can't see us putting up the money for Tate. I know Moorad said he will reinvest in the draft and he's done it before i just still have my doubts he will sign. I think Crow and Scheppers probably have the least amount of leverage in negotiations between all of them. Im still a little suspicious on Scheppers shoulder. I know he's starting to throw a bit better but Crow has been lights out in the Independent league so far, Scheppers not as dominate.

Definitely a different atmosphere on the MLB Draft broadcast than the NFL one.

The Padres do take Donavan Tate with the third pick.

              So far no surprises.

Sanchez going that early is a bit of a surprise. Though he definitely seemed like the first round wild card as he was all over the place in mock drafts this week.

Matt Hobgood to the Orioles. Looks a bit like Joba Chamberlain. I'm not sure about if he's the best high school pitcher, but he certainly did have a huge stock rise in the draft.

                      Zack Wheeler to the Giants.

He was also on the Padres draft board, but fell off the last couple of days. I like that pick.

Is there anywhere where I can see what picks the Cardinals have? Because I have no clue.

Tony Sanchez? The Pirates sure do some strange things. He looked to be a mid to late first rounder and the Pirates took him 4th? I don't know much about this guy, but I'm so frustrated with this organization that my mind is completely warped.

I think Zack Wheeler has some developing to do, but with the arms the Giants have.. he's got some time. Stockpiling pitching
                              I do because I can, I can because I want, I want because you say I can't
