ASB waivers
Okay, I thought I understood how this worked, but in my transactions menu it says the Jays lost Catalonato to waivers and then claimed him off of waivers the next day.
Now, shouldn't I have been offered a shot at him before it cycled back to the Jays?Tags: None -
Re: ASB waivers
No, because if he was claimed by another team ahead of you, then the Jays could have pulled him back before you got your shot at him.

Re: ASB waivers
In the game, if you try to send a player down to the minors who is out of options, and he is claimed by another team, a window pops up saying that "Player X has been claimed" and gives you the option to take him back.
Note: this only works if you are moving a player down to the minors. Certain roster moves don't give you the option of pulling your player back (I think taking him off the 40 man and demoting a player claimed in the Rule-5 are among thsoe instances)“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W.
