    Royals Twins split four

Well the Royals squared off in a series against a good Twins teams and split the four game series. For a few weeks there when we were getting slaughtered by Boston and Baltimore I thought the Royals were going to return to their old ways but they played the Twinkies tough (at least in three of the games). It sure is fun to still be pulling for them this late into the season!

The Royals will be a fun team to watch over the next few yrs if they can follow the A's and Blue Jays salary structure. Basically lock up their key players to long term low priced deals then when their contracts are up the team should be financially stable to give some of their players some fair market value money.

I heard an interesting stat when listening to last nights game. The Royals lead the majors in converted saves...but they also lead the majors in blown saves.
