Guess I picked the wrong Royals game to go to tonight. I normally hate leaving early, but it wasn't worth it sitting out there in 90° heat. That team really needs to learn how to play defense.

Annoying, cheap loss for the Red Sox tonight as the game is called after 5 innings due to rain with the score 2-1. Its one down side to interleague play. Had this been a divisional game they probably don't play any baseball tonight in Boston, or the game would have gone into a delay much sooner as it was pouring from the third inning on. Oh well, the Marlins can thank Mother Nature for that win.

I disagree, not because I am a Marlins fan but I watched a Yanks/Sox game last week and it was pouring rain the entire game.

I disagree, not because I am a Marlins fan but I watched a Yanks/Sox game last week and it was pouring rain the entire game.

I was at that game and the rain was never as bad as it was Thursday night, and the worst of it only lasted for 15 minutes or so with the forecast for it to be a passing shower. Which it was. Last Thursday the forecast was to rain all night and into the morning, which it did. It's over with though.

The Jays had so many chances last night but still lost. They made the crappy Nationals bullpen look like aces.

Oh well, hopefully they can take the next two.
