    WSB: Mets franchise

I am seeking the advice of the members on this board on how to improve the team in the long run. I know that in a video game, MO can produce and Burnitz won't break his hand...but that's only good enough to go .500.

I'd like to deal for a 2nd or 3rd basemen and move some of the starting pitchers for young guys. Any ideas on who to key in on?

You can get Joe Thurston or Brandon Phillips as a young replacment for 2nd base. Both are good prospects and Joe Thurston is doing real well for my PIrates franchise

i would go with phillips just cuz he can potentially develop into a pretty good all-around hitter.. power and average

Well I don't want to re-sign Alomar so I would use him to get the younger replacement.
