Wasn't ASB supposed to come out for the PC?

I can't find a release date anywhere. Did the PC version get canned?

I was just informed by Acclaim that it will NOT be coming out for the PC.

It's sad to say, but the PC is a dying platform for sports games.

Well, I have a feeling that if someone doesn't SOON come out with a "manage-only" mode as an option in console-based baseball games, there will be fewer sales in baseball games. And, I'm not the only one griping about this. I loved it when Hight Heat Baseball 1999 (I think) for the PC had this option. I could just sit back and make the managerial decisions. The 1-pitch option was great, games flew by, and I got to see the big picture with my team's season. Plus, I got to watch the games.

Yes, it's unfortunate. PC games are certainly more appealing because of the "aftermarket" work that can be done on them.
HighHeat is a perfect example, the PC game out of the box looks nothing like the version I now have because of all the stadium, uniform, gameplay, graphics mods that are freely available on highheat.net. These guys are amazing.

ASB would have been perfect for the PC because IMO a few tweaks and it's one of the best BB games ever.

PC is the best for sports games IMO. There is lots of stuff available to you, patches, etc.....Plus for me since I only have a GC I dont have to worry about memory cards, just goes on the hard drive and thats it.
