ASB- Anyone else strikeout about 15 times a game?

on All-Star with 'Normal' hitting and pitch types 'Norma'l? I have 8 guys in the top 10 for striking out . I was just wondering if it was just me or everybody?

I had a couple up there among the leaders in K's, but they were the usual suspects (Aramis Ramirez and Reggie Sanders).

I did strike out a ton on all-star though. I suggest going back to veteran and using the classic cursor.

If I go back to Veteran I'll win about 8-1 like I was doing before. Oh well, I guess i'll be able to handle striking out that much...

try classic cursor on veteran, less K's, less hits too. Also, an earlier thread pointed out that if you flip a coin for each pitcher you face, to decide whether you play All Star or Veteran that adds to the realism. I have found that it works quite well. If you are killing the pitcher and he comes out and your coin toss puts on All Star, it my cool your bats. Also, if you are getting dominated on All Star, but a new pitcher comes in and your coin toss goes to veteran, you might come back.

Also, I have played about 60 games switching back and forth and I really don't K that much on All Star anymore. I had 7 of the top 10 in K's after 30 games and now I only have 3.

Oh yeah, and another thing, my pitching is too good for a Veteran level, I still shut people out on All-star. any suggestings?

Turn the pitch indicator and vibration off if you haven't yet. It makes a big difference. If you've already done that, try not moving the pitch location until your pitcher is in the windup.

I have 36 HR with Gary Sheffield, 35 with Chipper Jones, 22 with Andruw Jones, 17 with Javy Lopez, 11 with Robert Fick, 9 with Marcus Giles, 7 with Rafael Furcal...all through 111 games. Seems realistic to me.
