Anyone here started an expansion team is ASB?

I am thinking about starting one pretty soon. Has anyone else? If so, tell us about it. I think some of the expansion stadiums are pretty creative.

i startded one with the providence bandito's it's a pretty large market so i got a good amount of cash and points to use for coaching, scouting, etc. The thing that i love about it is the challenge of building a winner. And since most minor league teams have fictional names already it makes even less of a deal when you have an expansion team because you wouldn't hear about them in real life, anyway. (This was the main reason why i did not start with red sox)I am very happy with my franchise going into the second season. I am 9-9. The only thing is there seems to be a bug inthe scheduling system as some months i play the entire month at home and another month on the road.

Haven't touched it since I grabbed WSB, but had one going. Figured I'd do the old create my friends thing...the Las Vegas Vultures in the AL West. Problem, 3/4 of the created guys are 18 and you can't edit a created player's age, so the guys will probably stink for 3 or 4 years even though their ratings are good. Stupid way of doing things.

Haven't touched it since I grabbed WSB, but had one going. Figured I'd do the old create my friends thing...the Las Vegas Vultures in the AL West. Problem, 3/4 of the created guys are 18 and you can't edit a created player's age, so the guys will probably stink for 3 or 4 years even though their ratings are good. Stupid way of doing things.

Funny, i am the Las Vegas Vultures, but in the NL West. My team is rather good.
I have Durazo, Erstad, Durham, Ashby, and a strong pen--all from the draft. I made some trades, got rid of Jason Kendall (drafted) and Matt LAwton (also drafted) to lower salary for Michael barret and a prospect. Got BELTRAN, cause I knew the Royals would be dealing him anyway. I gave up Hidalgo and Latroy Hawkins (both drafted). The yanks also let me have Wells for Aaron Sele and someone else. This one might be a stretch, but I took it!
My #1 Catcher is Johnny Estrada, who is a switch hitter w. power from the right,a nd my #2 is also a switcher! with power from the left! I am a game or two above five hundred after 25 or so games, and on a 5 game W streak, after losing 4-5 in a row.
