One game, 57 hits, 51 runs

How many pitchers will make it to the show from these 2 teams?

Who knows, but maybe the Padres will be able to hit. In like 8 years.

I think there's always high scoring games in the high desert. I think last year the Storm blanked them 30-0 there, but I'm not sure.

The High Desert is like Coors Field minus the humidor and with shorter fences.

Good old Cal league. Can never take any players' stats seriously that play in that league because of the crazy hitters environment.

                Yup.

It drove me nuts when Salt Lake was the Twins affiliate. All the hitters "looked" like the next stud so every casual fan and their dog would be clamoring for them to get called up.

Yeah, I remember when the Red Sox moved one of their affiliates out of there because they didnt want to send any of their big pitching prospects into that league because they were afraid of ruining them.

I like how High Desert put one of their catchers in there to pitch. He didn't do so well though, got one out and gave up 5 hits, 4 of them home runs.
