Yes he could win it, I just don't think that he should, at least not at this point.

It might be easier for him to make it through the season without hitting a wall than any of the starters though.

I don't see Bailey getting it either.

The AL has way more potential winners than the NL at this point.

AL - Romero or maybe Scott Richmond
      NL - Hanson or McCutchen

        AL: Reimold
        NL: Hanson

So far, the rookies haven't amounted up to anything. Hanson's only had 4 starts but if he builds on his recent performances then he'll win the NL in a landslide but the AL should be interesting..

Rasmus started off slowly, but he seems to be getting better by the day. McCutchen has been a monster since debuting. He's jusssst started to slow down a little right now, but he looks the most competent when it comes to MLB pitching that I've seen out of any rookie this year. He rarely has a bad at bat so far.

Anyways, Hanson looks pretty awesome. I buy him being Atlanta's next big ace.

Rick Porcello is doing pretty well. He's my AL pick.

if dusty would give up his man crush on willy then chris dickerson or better yet ryan hannigan could have a good shot of being the darkhorse NL ROY ...

In Tommy Hanson's past 5 starts he's only given up 1 earned run and 3 runs total. by shutting down powerhouses like Boston & New York..He's definately NL ROTY so far.

I mean it's his & Beckham's to lose IMO. They're are no impact rookies in the AL this year. Andrew Bailey doesn't count, All-Star or not.

Just because Ricky Romero plays in Toronoto doesn't mean he hasn't had an impact. If the season ended today I'd give it to him. I don't watch enough NL baseball to say who I like in that league.

I'd say Hanson's the favorite in the NL right now. My homer pick would be Casey McGehee, he'd certainly be at least a dark horse at this point. I don't think he'll be able to sustain his current numbers, though.

I'll go with Andrus in the AL.

                                You're probably right.

We have only seen a sample of Tommy Hanson so far while Rasmus is leading all ML rookies in HR's and RBI's.
