I have about 6 guys who contract expires at the end of the season. I simmed to the end to se what would happen. 3 went to arbitration but three just disappeared. As a looked at the rosters of other teams, the other three had signed with others. So, if you don't sign them to a long term contract, does that mean you forfeit your right to match another teams offer?

I'm not sure, but I got really mad at the end of the season as I had yet to sign contracts with 3 of my guys. When I went to the free agents screen, I saw the 3 players there, but I accidently closed the screen. When I opened up the free agent list again they were gone. So I assume when free agency kicks in you pretty much have to resign your players before another team gets to them. -
