I was referring to his career as a whole, not just this year.

I loved the curveball he threw to Kouzmanoff in the 7th inning that hit Kouz in the front leg.

And yes, Sandofat is pretty amazing.
I am telling you. I have not been this pumped about a Giants hitter since Clark. He is a beast! I see chump hit a Grandslam tonight

I talking about this year. But OK, I have faith in him. Even pro players I have talk to said he has nasty stuff. If he puts it together he can be a beast!

If by chump you mean the Bison then yes, Kemp not only hit a GD, but had a nice sacrifice bunt to allow Loretta to drive in the tying run, and he had the game saving catch Willie Mays style.

But still, good job Sanchez. Finishing the job Timmy started yesterday.

OH yeah Chump is really good. I will still take Fatty though. Also, I was pumped tonight. That stuff is nerve racking. I have never seen a Giants No No before. But Timmy will get some day or maybe this year.

If he gets going and that Rookie keeps doing what he is doing then I would say yes! We have 2 10 game winners. And Matt has a chance to be 11 tomorrow. I love the way the bats are coming alive, but once again I am happy for Sanchez his dad was there too. It was the first time he seen him pitch. What a first game to go to!

yeah that was great! i was really happy for sanchez and his dad. the giants actually have an envious dilemma right now as far as pitching. once johnson comes back, either sanchez or sadowski has to be taken out of the rotation. id say sadowski is out at this point since he is in the minors again. all this team needs is a chance in the playoffs and they can beat anybody

Man, this was a surprise. Sanchez has shown flashes of brilliance throughout his career, but (obviously) nothing like this...hopefully this is the start of something big for him.

i think that sanchez has always had the stuff, just the control, and tonight, we saw what could happen when his control is perfect (0 walks). i think this will jumpstart his career, since he had a lot of hype coming into the majors

                          Re: Jonathan Sanchez NO HITTER

                          I WAS THERE!

Oh man, what a game! I was in the bleachers in left field, and the crowd was electrifying! I keep saying "If only..." for Uribe. I know I can't hit him too hard as he won't sleep tonight because of his error, but he even had a second chance at the play at first and fumbled that. Aaron Rowand saved Sanchez in the ninth as well, it was epic!

Unfortunately, I don't think the people in front of us understood what was going on. Starting in the sixth inning the crowd started to cheer a lot and rise in two strike counts, and they were simply clueless. I believe it was the fifth inning when I was telling my dad how the score was 7 - 0 and it would be disrespectful to bunt at this time. As any sane baseball fan would understand, I am talking about the Padres bunting against Sanchez and bunting simply to break up a no-hitter, not so much to win a ball game (if it's 1 - 0 I understand completely). Anyway, then the girl in front of me nods in agreement, though I think she thought of it the other way. She says, "I know, that would just be like stalling for time, right? Like, isn't there a time limit?" My dad and I just looked at each other and laughed. Then in the ninth inning they are ABOUT TO LEAVE! They stay because the crowd is cheering a lot, but then they start taking pictures to put up on Facebook! And these are like mid-20s people, mind you.

Anyway, sorry about the rant. They were an awful distraction for an otherwise great game. Let's not forget that Rowand and Uribe shared three hits each and Sandoval hit about a 455 foot blast (I'm estimating on my own, tale of the tape to come later). The other only unfortunate thing is I printed my ticket online, so I only have a paperback souvenir and not the actual hardcopy. Either way, it is history that I soon won't forget!
