    Tim Worrell

I need some input from San Fran fans. For my fantast league, I need to pick up a closer who will get me a lot of saves. Someone is going to trade me so I will get Tim Worrell. I noticed last year he didn't have any saves and this year he has 13.

Was he not a closer last year? Or is there someone on the DL this year who he is covering for until they get back? Do you think he's someone I can count on for 20-30 more saves this year?

Since Nen is out for a very long time, Worrell will be their closer this year. He's a very good pitcher who, if you can get for cheap, will get you no less than 30-35 saves this year with about a 3.00 era and a 1.25 whip.

I've been trying to trade for him for about a month.

I need a closer and a friend of mine in the league needs a 2nd basemen who hits for avg. and doesn't strike out a lot. I am going to give him Luis Castillo for Worrell. I proposed the trade...we'll see if he goes for it!

one thing to keep in mind, Felipe doesn't manage to build a players stats. He won't bring Worrell in for the easy saves and other times he will bring him in earlier, in say the 7th if that's the tense point of the game.
Often times the game is REALLY saved earlier than the 9th, and that's how Alou's been managing.
Worrell is still a good pickup, but you may want to watch for that.
