Morneau was cheezed off at how the Canadian anthem was handled. Can't say I blame him, for all the good STL did with the opening of the game it was mucked up a bit there.

They could've at least brought someone in to sing the song.

The curve balls that were thrown in the Dodgers-'Stros game were just INSANE.

The Julio Lugo era in Boston is officially over. The Red Sox have designated him for assignment to make room for the returning Lowell. Following tonight's start by Buchholz, it is expected he will be demoted to make room for Jed Lowrie. Don't feel bad for Julio though, the Red Sox still have to pay him approximately $13 million.

Billingsley continues to be pathetic. Don't really know how he was an All-Star over Gallardo.

Billingsley's numbers look pretty good to me overall. You're the first person I've seen argue for Gallardo over him. I mean, I wanted Gallardo on the roster, but I really couldn't justify him over Billingsley... my personal crusade was for the removal of Marquis.

Bills, McDonald, Lambo/Pierre for Halladay. Make it happen, Ned.

His performances over the past 6 games have been dreadful, minus that one start against San Diego.

His strikeout numbers are way down, but he is giving up a lot of hits. Right now his confidence is completely broken, and well he just isn't as good as people want to say he is. Honestly, I would trade Billingsley to get Halladay, especially with the strides that Kershaw has been making over the past month.
