Answer about MLB records in WSB

I asked about this a while ago and finally got the answer today. If you play a shortened season (20, 40....games) and beat an MLB record, it will replace the old one.

I beat the slugging pct. record with Sammy Sosa and beat the BA avg. record with Mark Grudzielanek. I also managed a hit in every game of the season with Paul LoDuca, but it was only 40, not quite enough to beat the old record.

It's cool to beat the records, but they shouldn't let them count unless you play a full season, because I'm sure it's much easier to hit .450 in 40 games than 182.

(By the way: I played all games in this 40 game season...1st time I have ever played all the games in a season without simming!)

By the way... it is 162 games.

I agree with you on the "they should only count for full seasons", unless it's a milestone kinda thing... like not an average or percentage record, because those are easier than 73 homeruns if you are playing a 40 game season.
