    I've definitely noticed....shame on you

He didn't play today though, and they lost. Partly because they really got hosed on a call.

Yeah, and in his mind he is the greatest baseball player of all time!!
He was wondering why no one wanted him this past winter maybe he needs to check his attitude plus his eroding skills.
He will be back down to .260 and bad hamstrings before the season is over!!

                    Re: lofton?

Lofton is a bit high strung and doesn't lack confidence, but what's wrong w/ being confident? I wouldn't be surprised to see Lofton filling in for Bernie soon.

I doubt it. Yes, Lofton is getting up there in age, but the Pirates finally have a leadoff hitter and a decent center fielder (we haven't had one of those since Van Slyke). I highly doubt they'd be willing to trade him, at least at this stage in the season.

Yes, I am an indians fan and lofton had some great seasons for the tribe, I would go as far to say that he was the most exciting player in baseball in the mid nineties.
But after he hurt his shoulder he has never been the same.
He seemed to blame everybody but himself for his decline(umpires, coaches etc.) it really got old.
What used to be confidence and a little cockiness turned into arrogance and standoffish.
I really do wish him all the luck in the world , but I would be suprised if he hit .260 by the end of the year and did'nt misplay a ****load of flyballs hit over his head!
