Sorry...Andruw Jones is THE best centerfielder in the game.

He amazed fans with his glove _long before_ Hunter did.

i completely agree with that.
edmonds isnt really all that fast.. the reason he makes all those diving catches is because he has too.. i bet if jones or hunter were out their.. they would be sittin under the ball on some of the ones edmonds dives for.

True but Edmonds makes is spectacular catches by the jumping over the wall variety just like hunter.Jones dives and makes his great catches by lunging and using his great and uncanny range...Thats why i think that Edmonds=Hunter.

When Drew came up there were comparisons to Mantle. The only comparison I can make as of now is that they both had(have) bad luck with injuries. I think his 27 home run year is really a preview of what he can do when healthy. Another reason many Cards fans want him gone is his supposed lack of heart and desire for playing baseball. Some people think he doesn't really care, but I disagree. I can't wait to see him play everyday, but I am worried he won't be in a Cardinals uni next year.

And on the topic of Edmonds, it looks like he'll be out at least a week with some bruised ribs. We're going to need someone to step it up a notch :looks at Tino:.

im goin to the game tonight.. we got tickets.. cuz my 6 year old brother needs a bat.. and nothing better then albert pujols bat day!! hehe.

i cant beleive its taken me to the end of may to my first game of the year.

the reason i think they think jd doesnt care is because he is a quiet person.. and when he strikes out or grounds out.. he doesnt throw a temper tantrum.
