I just got Inside Pitch today. It is a lot of fun online but I can't finish a game. I have tried to play three games and have lost the connection three times. What gives? Is anybody else having this problem? This is taking the fun away from the game since I can't finish a ranked game.

i had a total of 10 or so freezes ( yes just lockups) and like 7 disconnects. I never got past the 5th inning in a game. I didnt want to hworry about if they game is gonna crash every time i played.
Havent had any issues with any other online game. no issues downloading content, etc.
Might try my luck again down the road sometime.Comment

I'm also experiencing the same issue; nearly every game I play end s in a "network connection error"....Hopefully there is a patch on the way...I thought it might just be me, but it's clear that this is a problem for MANY gamers.,Comment

My XBL is using adelphia powerlink cable hookup through a linksys cable modem and router. I also have not had many problems other games. Once in a while I have a disconnection from ghost recon. Please, let there be a patch on the way.Comment

Guys:
DBDynasty brought up a good point about this issue either here or at the Digital Sportspage board: It could be your audio settings.
NHL 2K3 would disconnect all the time when either using surround or Dolby sound settings. Once those settings were turned off on your Xbox dashboard, the problems disappeared.
So for those who are playing IP with a trick sound system, check your settings on the Xbox dashboard. Turn off Dolby. Turn off surround. They might be the culprit.

I seem to remember an early problem with NFL2k3 and dolby digital causing problems, but that was fixed. I've been having lots of problems with this game and disconnects and last night I played one game then the second game I was getting beat 6-0 and hit a fly ball to center for the first out and got a "dirty disk error". I would like to apolgize to that guy by the way, he was playing a good game and got cheated out of the victory. If the main problem with these disconnects is the Dolby Digital turned on then this game will go on the shelf. That is one of the main features I bought the xbox for.
Ps. When you don't get disconnected, this game rocks, I love it.Comment
