Its good that the young guys are playing, and playing well. And they should definitely trade Alomar if their not in contention by July 15th, Astacio/Cedeno too, but other than that, evryone else should stay. If they get rid of Benitez, then they need to get a true Grade A+ prospect in return.
I used to say that i couldnt wait till they got rid of Burnitz, but i say keep him till yrs end, cause he's beasting right now. Again, unless a cant miss deal comes their way, keep Burnitz and then go into the FA market next yr big.Vi Veri Universum Vivus Vici

Forget about the FA agent market. That is what got them into this hole in the first place. Why make the same mistakes over and over again. They went after high priced FA that were past their prime, over-paid them, and then they don't perform in NY.
Jettison all the high-priced FA that were signed years ago. Trade Alomar and Benitez. Let Burnitz go at the end of his contract. And FOCUS on the young players and get back to the basics of developing their own corps.Comment
