I agree with Andrew that an All-Star position player is more important. But that would bring us to this question:

What position would you want you All Star player to play at?

I would prefer to have an All Star Shortstop.

Yeah, I would want an All-Star shortstop or possibly an All-Star center fielder.

Easily an All star pitcher. Pitching wins games during the playoffs. A guy like Johnson, Schilling, or Pedro win the most important games by themselves.

Yeah, I think you need an All-Star pitcher A good position player might get 5 or 6 RBI on a good night. A pitcher like Johnson, Schilling or Pedro can throw a shutout and win the game

it's important for your team to be strong up the middle: center fielder, second baseman, shortstop catcher or pitcher.

I'm gonna have to go wtih center fielder because pitchers only pitch every 4-5 days. but u couldnt go wrong with pitcher either.
