I think the Braves will beat the A's in the World Series. I don't this A-Rod will get the MVP because the media doesn't like him for signing the big deal with Texas. Last year he became the first shortstop to ever hit 50 home runs, and overall had an outstanding year, but wasn't even close to winning the MVP.

Once again, ARod WILL NOT win the MVP because his team is garbage, but I'm not gonna turn this into a MVP Definition thread.

            Got my predictions.......

            AL East: NYY
            AL Central: Minnesota
            AL West: Oakland
            WC: Seattle

            AL Champs: NYY

            NL East: Atlanta
            NL Central: Houston
            NL West: San Francisco
            NL Wild Card: Philadelphia

            NL Champs: Atlanta

WS: NYY vs. ATL, Braves in 7....MVP John Smoltz

It is possible that he could break the record. I did the math, and if I did it right he would have to hit about 34 home runs a year until he is 40. He has hit over 50 home runs for the last 2 years, and over 40 for the 3 years before that, so he is diffidently on pace.

I like the A's and all but Seatlle isn't going away.Piniero and Moyer are the best starters and that Bullpen is sick with Nelson and Rhodes. They are also(1 of) the best hitting team in the Majors.

I'll look into Horacio Ramirez, everyone's forgetting about Xavier Nady.
