    Re: Your 2003 Predictions?

If Nady can keep this up for the rest of the season he has a great chance. If.

        Re: Your 2003 Predictions?

What's gonna happen?/ my best guess.

        AL
        west Mariners
        cent Twins
east Yanks, yup it's still very early
wild Bosox, yup they're good enuff for second
        ROY Matsui
        MVP Bill Meuller,
        kiddin' I'll go with.....Soriano
        NL
        west G-Men
        cent Cubs
        east Braves
        wild Dodgers
I see a great race for the last playoff spots/wildcard between the Dodgers, Cards, 'Stros, and Cubs.
ROY- Jessie Foppert, getting better every start
        CY- Gagne? Russ Ortiz?
        MVP- Jose Cruz Jr.
Kiddin' again, that's an old post, how about Sheffield

        POST SEASON
the Giants beat the Dodgers in the NLCS dramatically w/ a HR off the bat of Tony Torcato, who was called up in late August to replace an injured Marvin Bernard.
But the Giants choke again and lose game 7 to the Mariners w/ the game winner going to Edgar, who then decides to go on ahead and retire. In the Offseason, Seatle signs Torcato to replace Martinez. Then Steinbrener talks Edgar out of retiring, and into playing firstbase in NY and going be the name of Tino.
Giambi is shipped back to Oakland in exchange for Eric Byrnes who tries to replace Bernie, but also finds an affection for turning 360's and falling down, rather than catching the damn ball, then George realizes that the Mets will be interested in a player like that and trades him for Piazza, who replaces the new Tino at first base and the Yanks go on to win it, Next year.
