Just hit 7 homers in a game against the Twins and at least 4 of these homers reached dead center, you no the black part. Matsui hit 2 homers which i think is a tad unrealistic considering that he has less than 5 all season. By the way it was ASB 2004, do you guys think the distances for the homers are realistic or do you think they should be shortened slightly, i mean there is no way that Matsui could hit a 400 plus homer to dead center. By the way if any of you have a franchise on the go with the Yankees tell me what your stats are like because im hoping this 7 homer game doesnt happen all the time.

My guess is that you created Matsui (since we still don't have rights to use him)and gave him an A+ rating, which makes him a better HR hitter than Bonds. You could change his attributes in the Player Editor.

All i can say is wow. I haven't experienced this yet. Trust me this doesn't happen often. What level do you play on and what cursor are you using? I play on allstar and use the classic cursor. I also have a yankees franchise but the Matsui I created hasn't shown that type of power. Here's my Matsui's stats:
.312, 5 HR, 20 RBI, 21 BB, 13 2B, 39 K, 63 H, 29 R, .379 OBP, .460 SLG

My overall record is 37-21, I just lost to the Reds on a Ken Griffey Jr. walk-off homer in the 9th off Rivera's cutter. In general, I hit about 1 home run a game and usually score about 4 or 5 runs, mostly it depends on the starting pitcher. Let me know what your settings are, maybe I can help u out.

How are your overall home run numbers - I mean with individual players? I thought I was hitting a lot of home runs with Giambi having 20 in 57 games.
Have you tried any other batting modes like normal cursor, zone, or easy? If you have, then maybe you should try WSB. From what I hear its better than ASB but I haven't tried it myself. Personally I enjoy ASB too much to try any other game but as with any game, you should see which one fits best for you.
