i wouldn't say i know him but i've seen him play and my mom was his math teacher in high school. ah crap i can't think of his name now. but he was a top high school player in Wisconsin 2 or 3 years. when his team played my school there were scouts from the White Sox, Twins, and Brewers. he was drafted in the 5th round by the Twins in 2001 i think. i'll try and think of his name. its Rivard something i think. dang i can't remember it. last we heard was he is down in Iowa drinking heavily and failing all his classes. he was sent to a junior college down there and was supposed to go and play for Purdue but school was to much for him. also he may be over in Iraq.

also tomorrow our baseball team is going to Jarrod Washburns old HS. he graduated in 92 and i think my coach may have played against him. i'm not sure though.

man that was a lot of typing. i'll try and think of the kids name. i've met him once.

Do you guys know Brian Sabean? If you don't... he is the general manager of the San Francisco Giants. Do you know Colin Sabean? He's my good friend, and the son of Brian Sabean. Do you know the last game of last year? I was there... in the dugout... with all of the Giants! I met Bonds, Kent, Schmidt, EVERYBODY! I was happy, and San Francisco opening day, me and Colin went (he also has his own personal season ticket thingies), and then we got to talk to Kirk Rueter (of course Colin can any time he wants). It's pretty cool to know him.

Oh, and by the way, my high school ball season is over and now I'm playing Babe Ruth. I'm on the Yanks and Colin is on the Indians. One at bat he hit a shot into left center (I was playing LF), and I dove and robbed him of extra bases. WEB GEM!!! It was so funny though because we did the same thing that Bonds and Hunter did at the All Star Game last year. Later Colin told me that his dad wanted to sign me.
