Re: Interleague Yes or No
Interleague play sucks. MLB wonders why the ratings for world series and all-star games went down, they can look no further than interleague play. It has taken away the novelty of those games because the teams that meet in the world series may have met during the season. It never used to be like that. Remember Larry Walker vs. Randy Johnson in AS game? That was cool becuase they had never faced each other. Teams should play games that matter, against teams in their own division so it impacts the standings the most. I doubt anybody will lose sleep if there are no more Padres-Tigers or A's-Marlins matchups. Please, Bud, get rid of it!!Comment

So you're saying a few interleague games take a way from the most meaninful prize in sports? You're saying it takes away the atmosphere the World Series delivers? Haha .. now thats some comedy. I simply don't see any logic in that. If anything, it builds up the World Series.Comment

Re: Interleague Yes or No
Interleague baseball is exciting and it should continue. However it needs some minor tweaking. I do like the rotations of divisions to keep it fresh. However, the tweaks should come in form of rivalry games. Sure CHW vs CHC, NYM vs NYY, LA vs ANA, HOU vs TEX, etc are great, but who thought up some of the other matchups this weekend??? Boston vs Philadelphia???? Why isn't Boston and Atlanta playing??? they both used to be in Boston, makes more sense...Baltimore vs Atlanta??? WHY??? Baltimore vs Philly would be a better rival matchup. Detroit vs Colorado...why??? Colorado should be playing at west team (Seattle) at least and Detroit could play Pittsburgh. why is CLeveland playing the Pirates, they should get a home and home with the Reds, like every other city or state rival is. Look at next weekend ATL vs TB why??? ARZ DET, FLA vs BOS???, interleague play is a great idea, but again a little tweaking is in order.Comment
