Hi everbody. This is my first post here at Operation Sports, and it isn't going to be a good one. I came across a HUGE bug while playing WSB 2k3. Here it is:
Furcal was up for Atlanta. It's 2-0 Pitt. He's down in the count 0-1, and hits a ball foul....or so he, the announcers, and I think. But no, It goes off of the foul pole, meaning it is a home run. 2-1 Pitt. BUT, in the replay he gets back into the box, acting like it was foul. The next batter was SUPPOSED to be Fick, but instead, Furcal is still in the box, down 0-2 in the count!! WTF?? So anyway, a little while later, same inning, the bases are loaded, still 2-1 Pitt. The ball is hit, and 2 runners come around to score for Atlanta, leaving runners on 2nd and 3rd. SO, it's SUPPOSED to be 3-2 Atl, but somehow, it's 2-2. So, did the homerun count or not??
That's a huge bug.
Another one I have come across more than once is...
If you have someone hitting, and they get a single, or a hit in general, but they get injured while hitting it, there is no runner on base. Even though, say they got a single, and they're supposed to be on first, no runner is on.
These are huge bugs in my opinion, that need to be fixed in 2k4.
