    BoSox vs Bucs "Old School"..

Was this neat or what!? Anyone check out the 1903 retro uniforms wore today? Man, were they baggy. I hope this isn't the last time we see these jerseys and hopefully others do the same..
" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "
    - Lavar Arrington on his new Redskins teammate Sean Taylor.

I thought it was a really cool idea. The PA announcer announced the batters from on top of the dugout with a megaphone (that was wired to the PA system, but still), the vendors were dressed in suspenders and bowler hats, and the scoreboard jumbotron was changed to look like an old-school scoreboard.

How could anyone play with those sleeves? When the Red Sox catcher had to block a pitch, it actually went up his sleeve!

I agree...didn't even have anything on the cap! Technically they weren't supposed to have numbers, but I guess that's something they couldn't work around.

I turned on the game around the 5th inning in time to see John Burkett in a close-up concentrating on his next pitch... first thing I noticed was the collars and if I remember right, the hats had this "mushroom" shape too them... and just gray, nothing but gray
