I don't think putting Feliz in that spot would be a very good idea. Closer is so mentally different than preparing to be a starter, it might hinder his progress.

I caught the tail end of the Rangers game on MLB.TV, and watching Francisco implode was sad. That was Lidge-esque.

Well on a happy note for the Rangers... Luis Mendoza pitched a no-no for Triple-A Oklahoma City tonight. He's 4-0 in his last 5 starts there, but I can't think of anyone that needs to be replaced from the starting role at the moment.

Cards win again. Thats 8 of 10 and another series victory. Molina had a huge pickoff in the 7th when the bases were loaded to end the inning. Going for the sweep tomorrow.

We all know Yuniesky Betancourt is a pretty horrible baseball player, right? So just how bad has his defense been with the Royals so far?

It's a good thing Dayton Moore doesn't understand stats, he'd probably try to do something stupid to himself if he did.

I love watching Matt Albers throw batting practice.

I have no idea what the hell that means, either.

...in other news, I went to Wrigley today and there was a three hour rain delay before they finally called it. Cool.

Yeah, but you don't get paid a million dollars a year to put the best team possible on the field.

Where do people find these ratings? I always thought a full list of MLB starters would be pretty interesting.
