Aubrey Huff traded to the Tigers for RP Matt Jacobson. 4th round pick last year, power arm, rated the Tigers #10 prospect, I like.

We really needed a bat though. Plus he would still have a few years before making an impact.

^^I agree, I really like this trade. Huff may be having a slightly down year from a average and home run department but his RBI's and batting average with runners in scoring position are both really good.

Every Tigers fan knew this team desperately needed another left handed bat, props to Dombroski for getting it.

After Frankie Francisco's implosion on the mound Friday night, he's turned in two dominant saves. I don't think I had ever seen Mauer get struck out swinging out of the zone at the third pitch.

            Rangers win!

Cards beat the Dodgers 3-2 in a good game. Haeger only made a couple mistakes, but that was enough for the Cards. Carp just got better as the game went on and that fastball to strike out Hudson in the 8th was just sick.

I expect Dodger losses to this point. Just glad Haeger went 7.

They were doomed the moment they didn't opt for the intentional strikeout on Kouz.
