Too Many K'S In WSB For X-BOX-UGHHHH

Heres my problem with this game i k to many times. i already k 20 times against kerry wood. im using the reds. my game difficulty is on legend.my sliders are like this
CPU pitching ability-100
CPU batting average-70
CPU batting eye(balls)-70
CPU batting eye(strikes)
and of course the misc sliders.
CPU throw strikes-1
CPU stealign frequncy-80
my pitch speed is medium and batting cursor size is medium and pitch cursor is off and strike zone is on and variable pitching is off and i use standard hitting.im leading the league in k's with 150 through 10 games. i have been playing for about 2 months now. please help me if you can tell me how i can not k so many times.

I also have Variable Pitching set to high, Vibration set to off and Strike Zone set to off. Yet I am leading the National League in strikeouts with my Reds after 45 games. I have 37 more strikeouts than the Cubs.

I've found the problem as the pitcher. My first game ever, Kerry Wood threw 24 Ks. I even pulled off a 27 K perfect game before fixing the settings.

I'm using xcell's sliders and I just struck out 15 with Matt Morris vs Atlanta, including the first 8 batters. Seems like if I throw a breaking ball or anything off speed the CPU can't touch it.

The problem for me is I have guys like Hudson and Wakefield who throw the same way every time. For Hudson it's throw down, and for Wakefield it's throw the knuckleball in the zone. By the 2nd or 3rd time through the lineup the other team has figured them out and starts crushing them.
