HOF bound?If he played 3rd base like he was always supposed to there probably isn't a doubt...but since he only played half of the game i'm not too sure...

For being around for so long, and being one of the best hitters in the game, he doesn't have as many Career HR's that I thought he would ..
His career BA and OBP are real good, RBI's are too ..
I'm not sure if he'd make it to the Hall with those numbers, but I know he's one damn good hitter. -

Hmm.. I don't know it is really a close call. His career isn't over yet, so we can't really make the call now. He's got some nice RBIs, and he led his team to the second best record in baseball history, you have to remember that, even if they didn't do anything in the playoffs. I'm not saying you have to be a power hitter to get in, but being a clean-up hitter and only having 287 home runs is really going to hurt him.Comment
